| ive been debating this for quite some time now and after this years rodeo with the brute i think im gonna try out another brand, im just tired of replacing seal after seal and axle after axle, etc.. etc.. i have really been leaning towards the renegade myself i think they are the fastest things in the pit from point a to point b. they just seem to suffer in the deep stuff. im looking for the dependable one of the two that i can trail ride and bogg when needed and not have to maint this thing every weekend. also looking for a place to buy one my local dealer is outrageous want 9,600 for a 800 renegade and over 10000 for a outty... _________________ JUSTIN SIMPSON AMR "750ish" brute force (work in progress as we speak)

| Justin...if you will drive a little ways....like down to east Texas. Its worth the drive for $1500-$2000 worth of savings.....A guys posted on HL the other day that had some... one 07 & alot of 08's 800 Oulanders....both were in the low $7,000 OTD and everyone I talked to was just giving like $8,000 OTD for the 09's....depends on whether you want to drive of not.....DK has a nice 09 ready to race for $8500. There high as heck around here. It seem like over in that area they are alot cheaper. I would get the Outlander if it was me....are you getting a 2 seater?? _________________ Kawasaki Brute Force 750iTeam Cumberland Mudders Barnett #10 Sponsored by: X Brand, MudTechInc., GearUpHelmets.com, Interco Tire, Mud-Throwers.comMudNutz.com |

| Justin, One thing you want to keep in mind about either the Outty or the Renegade...these are not "ride em' and forget em' " bikes...they take quite a bit of maintenance...Drew was right about the grease...an Outlander has (11) grease fittings...all of them must be greased after at least every other ride, if not every ride...especially in deep mud. The air filters must be cleaned regularly, fuel injector cleaner must be used, belt maintenance on these bikes is a big thing as well due to the extreme torque of the Rotax 800...I only say this to warn you that you can't treat an outty like a Honda...it wil leave you stranded, and always 30 miles from the truck... I would be glad to see you come over to the dark side, we have alot of fun over here, but we also spend alot of time with wrenches and grease guns in our hands...good luck on your choice, both are awesome bikes... I'm going to building up a new 2010 Max Ltd. over the winter...Power Steering, Air ride suspension, beautiful red plastics...it's gonna be an awesome build. I'm hooked on em, wouldn't have anything else...one nice thing about owning an Outty is the incredible support you can get on HL and Aurora for Maint. and problems, alot of VERY smart guys out there working on these bikes all the time. _________________ 2007 Outlander 650 XT Yellow 26" BigHorns on 14" SS106's , HMF, UNI Crutchfield Suspension, PRP Stabilizer, Tamarack Boxes, A few LED's and some Renegade parts...

| JK, Before you drive all the way to texas foe a deal on a 07, I'd advise on checking out Tims Ford Powersports down here in Winchester TN. The owner, Marty is who i bought mine from and i got a heck of a deal on mine. (931) 968-0114 Open mon-sat 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (sun) 1-5 p.m. He might have a few leftover 08, maybe a few traded in 07,08 800's. And he's a lot closer than Texas. _________________ 2008 outlander 650 max xt Ricochet skidplated installed BRP rear box Garmin gps Custom mount Goprocamera mount, helmet cam CATVR Bomb squad Member #1 SBB member SOR member www.goprocamera.com |

| If I was to get a new one to strictly to race with I'd strongly consider the new Popo 850... they are BADD... _________________ Team Wide Open Racing MX #45

| I'd just go get a Honda, the frame won't break as easily. _________________ 2009 YammerHammer Rhino 700 EFI (Camo) J-Strong top & windshield, 26" Grim Reapers. CATVR, HCRR, SBB
