This is on my Thundercat with the 1100cc Speedwerx BBK. What do you think may have caused the cam to wear into the rocker arms like this? The journal at the end of the cam opposite the cam gear wore into the head and rocker box cover as well. I'm thinking the valve lash was set too tight when the motor was built. Any how a new head and can are needed.

I install a set of these on mine yesterday and tonight I did a rear escort for a church hayride and they are GREAT. There is no comparison between these and the stock lights except to say they light up the whole world for you. I have them wired to the high beam side so I can turn them off when meeting others on the trails or they would blind them. Anyone who leads night rides would absolutely love them. I don't know yet how they will affect others if I am following them. They are pretty much ...

Anyone know how to do this? I sold this bike to a neighbor and I am helping hi bring it back to life. Seems like the belt is slipping when you take off. Sometimes it even makes a screeching noise, but that is rare. It mostly just slips. I was hoping to be able to tighten before we went and just bought a new belt. Also, if anyone could email me a service manual for this thing that would be very helpful.

By: Rick Sieman

If you've got a dirt bike [or ATV or snowmobile] with any off-road time on it, chances are some of the plastic parts on it are cracked. Fenders and side panels take the most abuse and many bikes are riding around with wounded parts. Have you priced a tank shroud or side panel lately? You can spend around a hundred bucks for a rather ordinary piece of plastic, or you can fix it yourself.

Up until recently, most plastic repairs have been crude, at best. You squeezed some sort ...

I found this process to be a real pain. It seems I would get to much oil in the filter; to the point it actually impeded the air flow, or the oil would be globbed in several locations and I could never seem get it dispersed properly.

I fought this probem several times, then started experimenting to find a better way to apply the oil. Here is what I have finally came up with that seems to work good and is rather easy to do.

First, I bought a spare filter. Now, I can change out the filter; ...

If you've got the mechanical knowledge to hook up an audiopipe yourself...then you should be able to build one yourself.

It's rediculously simple.

First collect the needed materials...

2 - 6" PVC 90 degree elbows

approx 2 feet of 6" PVC

PVC glue

1 tube of clear silicone

1 pair of 6 1/2" marine speakers

1 small 2 channel amp that will fit inside of the 6" PVC

about 6 feet of speaker wire

Yeah i know sounds strange .Anyhow i ride the two KQ's everyday and honestly i like the 450 better overall.

I would not trade my 750 for a 450 so dont ask.

The 450 is about 1.5 inches lower and it just makes a worls of difference.

When im about to endo on the 750 the 450 feels tame and cornering off camber is so easy on the 450.

So i heard if i buy some type of after market wheels i can squat the tires and thus lower the bike.

Id like yalls suggetions , im not playing in the mud so ...

Last weekend I was going down a black diamond trail that was very steep and my steering suddenly locked up on my. It wasn't so bad except that there was a turn coming up. I tried with all my might to turn it. Then once I got closer to the turn it loosened up. It was a very weird experience. Should I look into a steering stabilizer like the Scotts stabilizer?

This is just a little info to help answer some questions about jetting your ATV. Hopefully this will help a few.

When jetting your Carb this is how areas or your throttle range works.....

1/8-1/4 Throttle is your pilot jet.

1/4-3/4 is your Neddle.

3/4-WOT "Wide Open Throttle"- is you Main Jet.

Snorkels- When you snorkel your ATV its kind of backwards than some think. On most atvs you will get more air so you think it would run lean......but on most snorkel designs it ...

Terminal Protection -Over time, battery terminals can corrode, causing poor contact with your connections. This can lead to an eventual dead battery and a long walk home if it isn't treated properly. A mixture of baking soda and water neutralizes the corrosion-causing acid ensuring a good contact between the battery cable and post. Don't stop with your quad as this tip also works on your car, truck and lawn mower.

Ok guy's . The time is getting closer to purchase a new RZR ! The width on these units are 50'' , but with after market wheels and tires it grows to 54'' . I was looking at a 5x10 , but have been told a 6x12 is the best choice . I want a trailer that the RZR will fit on and will not sway while being pulled . The trailer size of course depends on the cost , so with that being said I just need what works and works well with the least amount of cost !
