A buddy and I went to Bryant Cove yesterday. We went in on iron gap road I believe. Is there any way to get to the sandy/dirt paths besides having to ride down the rocky paths off of iron gap road. Any help would be much appreciated. Loved riding the trails that had a sandy/ dirt base to them just not crazy about the rocky side.

Yeah, darkstar is right.

Bryant cove would be on the north side of the interstate. Iron gap road( least the Iron gap road i am familiar with off of Keith springs mountian) is close to Winchester, way south of the interstate.

Unless there is another iron Gap road that i don''t know of.

Can someone point me in the right direction to get to side without all the rocks?

The place we parked was at the community center on iron gap road on Keith Springs mountain.

I'm afraid there is no avoiding of the rocks. Now you can ride a detour way in and it will avoid some rocky sections but you'll eventually have to ride rocks to get to the bottom of the hollow.

Hard to explain where exactly the trail i go in at( lot more mud holes than rocks) so i'd have to show ya sometime.

I don't mind mud holes. Next time you go riding there send me an email and we can meet you there if you don't mind some company.

I actually haven't rode iron gap in a long time( been since january) it's not my most favorite place to ride, but it is one of the closest legal places to ride.
