I'll stick with my 06 Foreman. No improvements worth mentioning as far as I could see.

wow, bout time they played "catch-up"with the rest of the mfgs.

Eventually honda will have the power and the brakes that goes with that reliability they are already known for.

When I bought my 08 Foreman they had said some something about the release of the IRS. I think my Honda Foreman has enough power like it is. I have been through the same stuff as the big 700 go. It's just not the power of your ride it also has alot to do with the rider.

Gip you right bout Honda and Suzuki creating the atv market, however Honda has stalled in the R&D and kept with tried and true machines. They have not branched out into bigger, bikes designed more for the mud rider. Still leanin on that proverbial work crutch.

Independent Rear Suspension, very few newer models even come with a straight rear axle any more except for the racing 2WD wheelers

most of the market is not big bore mud riders. Honda makes great trail bikes, with loads of dependability and at a much more affordable price.

If they would just update there Technology to IRS, Disc Brake and 4wd. They did make the 420 with IRS in 09....I wonder if it has Disc brakes and Diff Lock Question

Cool, I'm glad its got Disc Brakes. Is the Front end got some kind of locker Question Or is it the regular 3wd Question If its has a true 4wd system it will be a GREAT machine. Does teh 420 have high & low range Question

Well it is a typicla honda 4wd system. As of now to my knowledge Honda hasnt developed any locker. I dont expect it to come anytime soon. Honda aims towards trail users and hasn't catered to the mud community recently. It is a Rubicon style transmission which means it is a 5speed auto. As far as low and hi gear it doesn't have but since it has a 5 speed transmission with the option electric shift selection gearing wont be an issue. the disk is a single rear disk on the drive line.(similar to a can-am)

I expect the eps to come when honda gives the rincon a new motor option. They tend to release features in pairs or multiples. such as irs came with the reintroduction of AT in regards to the rancher. power steering came when they released a more powerful rancher. I dont think honda wants to have one bike that will dominate their sales. for instance the foreman is air cooled a feature some guys like however it is single axle a feature some guys hate. the rincon is irs buy in turn is a 3speed transmission typically not favored by mud guys. all these bikes cater to a different target group. I am curious to see if honda stays with the manual transmission. I hope they do. I personally love having a manual and wish more utilities had that option. I feel something is lost in a belt drive just like i believe something is lost when you have a muscle car that is automatic. It leaves me wanting more. If honda drops the Manual that would leave the utility market with almost every bike automatic. interesting thought.....
