Okay got this thing tore down, taking pics as I go got the list ready to head to lowes and the part store.

Two questions....1.) the intake line for the tranny is already coming out into the hood front plastic, do I just have to couple that off and run a stack out the plastic and that intake would be complete, or do I need to remove the intake line and run it all the way from intake and back up and out, that looks just like it would be a reroute and a waste of time??? 2.) in the instructions provided by highlifter, it says to cut a 2"inch hole into the air box and run a 90 elbow and then run your snorkle lines, okay no problem, WHERE DO I CUT THE HOLE??? side top bottom(does it matter) and I will still need it jetted, I may take it into the shop for that, if'n one of you all can't show me(wish I had EFI) thanks for all the help, one way or the other this snorkled beast will be ready by this evening!!!

As far as jetting most of the time bikes will run richer casue it gets more air....thats the way Kawies are anyway. SOme run lean....what ind or air box snorkel are you doing? I would just Snorkel it and see how it does. On my Brute i didn't have to touch it. It was kinda of lean and i used the MIMB 3 inch option on a rubber 90. You might get lucky like I did and not have to touch it. I'm going to order a DynaJett kit anyway for mine and Jet mine one size bigger anyway.....thats sometime in the future. You said you wished it was EFI.....Buy you an EFI Brute or KQ 750 or the Grizzly 700. woo I'll talk to you about the Carb Friday....We might be able to fine Tune the air/ratio screws and the Needle jet if its only at low RPM's.

dont mess with a dyna jet kit!!! they are a waste of money and you dont even get the jets you need.. if it runs like crap from 0 - half throttle you need to change your piolt jet you can mess with changing the clip on an adjustable needle, but you will run yourself in circles, been there done that... ask CAC!! best thing to do is just find out how it runs first. but if it pops then its lean(needs more gas) if it sputters or dies needs less gas(smaller jet) if you need any help just let me know i have become pretty good at this jetting thing..
