Registration goes up until 10 minutes before 12:00. Then drivers meeting and the the racing starts.

I looked up the prices. Its $20 to race & $20 to enter the park. So it will a total of $40 for the day. Not too bad about the same as every other race. You have to pay to race.....then pay to enter the park. I am leaving Crossville about 3:30am-4:00am CST. I should get there about 8:00am or so. Do you know if Wilborns is on Central Time or Eastern Time Question

I think this will be a fun race. It will be a good place to try out new mods...clutch set ups and things like that. I am going to add some weight to mine and try a new clutch set up.

I printed off directions...Its 230 miles for me to got down towards Chattanooga on 127 cut over to on hwy 28 to get on I-24...then down I-59.....but the thing is after I get off I-59 get off exit183 Gadsden/atalla....cut all the way through there....

I am going the the other route....its 270 miles but time wise it will be about 20-30 minutes quicker. Go 40 west cut across I-840 to I-65 then straight shot down to exit 299/Jasper...then is only 7-8 miles off the interstate.....I think this route will be better and alot quicker since its all Interstate..even if its 40 miles further. Map quest & yahoo maps time frame is always longer that it really it...

Either way is somewhat jacked up. No real good straight shot, it's seems that anywhere you go most of your time and mileage is lost IMO.

Why do yo say that....on the directions it says Wilborns is only like 7-8 miles off I-65 off exit 299/Jasper.

The one directions Through Chatanooga would be nice...but it looks like alot of turns in aggravation after I get off I-59 in Atalla.

I think the Interstate way I-40...I-65 will be the easiest way to drive since it all Interstate even if its 40 miles further.

the best route is to come to huntsvlle on 565 then turn south on 65 exit 299. tn right stop at station and fill bikes and cans up. come out the side of the station turn right go about 8 miles look for sighn on right. trn righ go about 3 miles till you get to a t intersection, turn right and its about 4 miles on the left.

im working my magic now, brb with the answer. but i do know if you come up from b'ham you are looking at a lot of traffic. the backway is alot of curves and narrow dark roads. i live not to far from there and ride there alot. if you guys have only been once or twice you havent seen the whole park. it took me about 10 times before i could get all over it.

Thats the easiest way Mark, if by chance you end up coming thru the I59 way i can lead you in. I am 5 min for I59/attalla.

What time are you leaving your house Question I am getting to Wilborns about 8:00am or maybe a few minutes after.

I thought the I-40....to I-840...-I-65 then about 7 miles off the Interstate would be a better drive...How far is if from the Atalla exit Ollie???

Guessing 1.5 hour. Its all 2 and 4 lane. Where i am, i get on 278 and head west. For you, interstate (I40-I840-I65) would be the easy route.

Thanks Ollie....I am about 3 hours from the Attalla 183 exit off I-59.....the mapquest says its just over 50 miles from the exit too wilborns......so it takes an hour and half??? I guess I will just take the I-40..I-840-I-65....seems easier and not hard.

I live 4 hours from Birmingham that way.
