I can highly recommend LaFollette Honda service shop.

I got Thumper back from the shop this afternoon. I had taken him to LaFollette Honda to get the rear gear repaired. They completely replaced the gear and replaced a front wheel bearing. All this in less than two weeks. This is the best service I have ever seen on an ATV.

Dang It took Ulitmate Toys 6 weeks on mine and I had to threaten to come and get it before they even started on it.

I know bad service. Suspect I had Thumper loaded and ready to leave the Clinton Hwy store in Knoxville. They had put other folks from off the street in front of me after my parts had came in. pistol My grandson played the good guy and got them to fix it in the next couple of hours. I wanted it fixed, so I unloaded it... but I was madder than a wet hornet. wife

They even had the gall to try to make me pay for the parts they had ordered. I told them where they could put their parts.

These guys went beyond the warranty, at least the way I understood it, and fixed the wheel bearing they weren't even asked to do.

They also sell Can-Am.

I really like the hassel free service - Drop it off, tell them what's wrong, y/n to warranty, and wait for the call to pick it up. My Rancher was there off and on just about all winter and spring, repairing the engine and transmission, but not once did I pay a dime, or had any hassel. In my case waiting on Honda to send the parts were always the biggest delays.

This is one of the stories that are gettin more and more rare to hear. Good customer service after the sale. Sure hope they keep it up and keep makin people happy. This is why I do most all my own maintnance and repair. Between me and my Dad we can figure most any of it out.

What's amazing about this place is that I didn't buy from them. They serviced it because it was under Honda extended warranty.

There is a Yamaha shop here in CLeveland and when you take one to them the first question they ask is were did you but it. If you say somewhere else they tell you to take else where. That is why I don't go there.

What was wrong with ring gear Dan. Was it the seals on the axles that were leaking last time we rode? I don't like going to Ed's Cycle and I don't even own a Yamaha Laughing

The carrier bearings on the ring gear and the gear seals were gone. Loss of lubricant also damaged both the ring and pinion gears. The axles were frozen in the gear. I think they destroyed the housing getting the axles out.

The feller I bought my bike from had gotten the extended warrenty, but he couldn't find the paper work to prove it, and the dealership he bought it from denies that he bought it. So it's all on me to fix whatever comes up that's wrong with it. Other than a few specialized tools, I got all the tools and knowledge needed to work on these things, except for the trannys, don't know anything bout them...................yet. hahaha

Glad to hear someone is still dependable. A business that takes pride in their services and products is hard to find anymore.

Some extended warranties are not transferable, but I would do as Dan suggested.

Regardless of whether mine was transferable or not, it's expired now. Was only a year, and I've had the bike for 18 months.
