PostSubject: Kodiak owners !   Mon Nov 24, 2008 7:47 pm

Anyone else riding a Kodiak ?

Mnes a 2005 and of course I've found out in 2 minutes of riding about the squeeking
rear disc brake .

I was wondering if anyone else has noticed how crappy the headlights are ? Will they adjust ?

even after putting the bigger tires on which lifted it at least 2-3 inches , the lights even on high

only go out 10 feet or so ?

thx

My lights are fine, you might be able to shim them. My rear brake has no sound, well it did til I put the ebc severve duty pads on. Is yours rear disc? Mine is.

Thanks,

Miine has a single rear disc. It is a Suzuki. The rear brakes are now EBC Severe Duty. No problems with that brake pad yet.

That made me think more , my KQ did have the single rear , it was just on the shaft vs on the wheels and it was just the one and it was sealed .

Grizzly did have one on each wheel . Its been a long day . Got the finished on the Kodiak and loaded it back up . Going to Ringgold ( houston Valley ) in the morning to let the kiddies ride some . Ga schools are still in school I believe , so it shouldn't be very many riders there . That place gets small really fast when its crowded ! .

I'll get a few miles on the trails albeit with the 4 yr old on board with me and then I can see what tweaks I need to make .
