My neighbor ran across a 1996 Polaris 300 for $200. It was run without oil. It still runs...but burns massive amounts of oil. Anyone know how much trouble it would be to rebuild it?

Unless he already has it, I would say to hold off on it. For what it will cost him to fix it he could get himself a nice older Bayou 250 or 300 or Honda 250. Then he will have a ride that he knows is going to last him and is a whole lot tougher.
