Me and a buddy of mine are trying to get things rolling around here for a new ATV club in our area. The only big club here is West Tennessee Trail Riders. So if anyone lives in West Tennesse you are more that welcome to send me an Eamil and let me know that you are interested in it. We will be posting it in the Local Newspaper. I'm now working on shirts and Sponsers. You can reach me at:

Good Luck with it. Just make sure you get your tax # if you charge yearly dues ans make sure you paperwork does not leave you reliable for anything. Very Happy I hope you do well. king

I think before I went and started a club like windrock or something with dues and officers and stuff, I'd look at the virtual club route. I belong to Tennessee Virtual Jeep Club. Its web based. No dues, just guys and gals that like the sport. No one really is president or chairman or any officer for that matter. One guy is the admin and He just hangs out. If you want to plan a ride, you plan one, take a poll of dates, and set it and go. All pretty simple really. It seems to work well. If you start it its your club but everyone has a part and they take it seriously. Check em out at www.tnvjc.org Might be something to look at. Suspect

I would do like big red don said. You can still have a president and vice and so on if you want. Just don't charge any dues right off. that way you can have fun and not have to worry about all the paper work BS. study

Many many years ago I was in a lowrider club and we had meetings every month. The meetings was for only the cruise days and what everyone has new. we bought shirts but it was on a if you want one you pay the person in charge of the shirts. We had 1 person that would look around for coming events like car shows. I think this is all we want. The sponsers would be like my fathers business which is a welding shop. Some of the people that said they are interseted have there on business. So I think we can get this done without a tax number. The website is a very good idea to do postings for upcoming events. Like this weekend I have about 5 to 10 people that are going to Sugarcreek. I would have more if I can get them on the phone. Thank you for your imput. I have started building a small site that I can do some posting. Just started it tonight so I have a long way to go. If you are interested in looking at it you can go to http://www.geocities.com/mudmisfits/Starterpage.html?1203043973075 and sign the guest book.
