Tennessee Finalize New Statewide Association.

In fall of 2007, the OHV4TN citizen lobbyist organization asked the NOHVCC to assist with setting up a statewide OHV organization in Tennessee. On May 31, 2008, the NOHVCC hosted an Association Development workshop in Cookeville with OHV representatives from across the state in attendance. On November 8th, the Tennessee Off-Highway Vehicle Association (TOHVA) was incorporated and an election of officers was facilitated. In addition Bob Richards with the Tennessee Dept. of Environment and Conservation was on hand for both of the meetings.

"I am very excited about the direction of this fledging organization," states Iva Michelle Russell, OHV4TN Executive Director. "In order for us to obtain our goals of a statewide system of sustainable trails, we are going to have to have all the OHV groups organized and this first leadership group should pave the way for a successful journey."

Tennessee Off-Highway Vehicle Association (TOHVA)

President David: Bebout (OHM)
Vice President: Steve Melton (4WD)
Treasurer: Joe Tichenor (OHM)
Secretary: Todd Patrick (ATV)
4WD Member-At-Large: Roger Theurer
ATV Member-At-Large: Donald Sieber
OHM Member-At-Large: Scott Voorheis

Been quietly keeping up with these developments before getting involved. Might be worth it to us to help out in some way but I'm just not sure about it yet.

she believes TEDEC is the answer i am linked to her news letter and have talked to her earlier last year, if I can find the report where she was working with TEDEC and post it here I will, they were trying to get the money RRB TWRA gets for their funding but it got voted down
