PostSubject: Pair of BX-128 vhf radios , can be made to operate on the repeaters   Wed Jan 28, 2009 9:42 pm

I picked these up the other day , don't know much about them except what I found on the web ................ they are supposed to have new rechargeable batteries and I have 2 chargers ( can't see where/how you stick the plug into the radio though ? )

Both work and in good shape . Supposed to be 5 miles and can be made to work on a repeater . I hear ya'll talk about the "repeaters" on the mtn but haven't really done any research on the subject .

here's a link or two on the radios and how to program / make them a repeater

I've not fooled with them at all except to make sure they worked . I've seen them on ebay for an avg. price of 85 bucks

They look like the ones in the ebay picture . I do NOT know if they are 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 channel radios .

If your interested , make me an offer on them . I've got too much going on right now to try and mess with these and I'm sure I'd screw one up trying to do the repeater thang ! LOL

Thx

Steve

I figure $ 85 for the set and if you need them shipped , I'll take care of that .

AND if you get them and don't like them , send them back and I'll refund your

$$$$ ( you'll have to pay return postage , maybe $ 7 bucks ? )

Thanks,

Steve
