(Mod#3)For improved low end and lower clutch ratio, I will modify the moveable sheave angle. This will give you better low end power in high and low range, (About 6-7 % lower ratio)and lower engine braking ratio!

The moveable sheave modification (Mod#3) will not hurt top end performance like my 2mm shim mod#1 did. Plus
there would be no shimming of the support cage, and misalignment of the
splines on the fixed plate due to adding 2mm of shims of my first
Mod#1.

Not sure....I think you have the Mod #2 and Mod #3 if you have the Shims Installed. Was the plate bent and Welded?

You can read more about Mod#3 and Mod#2 at his website...

http://coop45.webs.com/

Call the dude you got it from and ask him what Mods he had done. He can tell you for sure. You can tell if the Mod #3 was performed by looking at the Moveable Sheave.

Yes...it was. Then I have the 2mm shimms as well.

Update: BTW I have not received any moneys in the writing of this review.

Still very happy with the setup. I got the Yellow Secondary Spring, Coop #3 Moveable Sheave Mod, Lighten Roller weights. After several hundred miles with this setup I can say it was worth it for the type of Moutain Trail riding we do in East Tennessee.

There is only one negative thing I have noticed with my setup. My Fuel Mileage has dropped considerably. I am convinced that it is the Lighten Roller weights. I have the 24 grams -vs- 28 grams Factory. I have order 4 Factory Roller weights. I am going to switch every other one so I will have 28-24-28-24-28-24-28-24 grams weights in the moveable sheave.

I use to be able to get close to 90 miles on a tank of gas. Now I am closer to 60-65 miles. I will report back on the fuel mileage thing.

Still, this is an awesome mod and worth doing.

Airdam does clutch work as well. If you need his contact info let me know. He does Can-Am's as well.

I have my new Mod#3 with no seal hump in the center!
I have a new video on it, on my web site!

I am going to only do these mods in limited amounts, so that it doesnt take away from the family time, so e-mail first please.
Thanks
