My Snorkel is not perfectly sealed anymore, the side flange on the snorkel that comes around the side and by the handle bars is leaking and after a # of patches I'm tired of messing with it. I'm thinking about trying to run a bigger one instead of two smaller. What are your thoughts on flanges or I've thought possibly epoxy a peice of pvc in the airbox. Kind of what it under plastic if I can ( the kodiak is cramped fer space under there) do ya'll have any thoughts?

I'm a mechanical engr by degree and I would avoid flanges on plastic pipe. They make repair clamps which are nothing more than a rubber hose and two clamps, they work very well for making a snorkel in removable pieces. Also work well if you want to have two length for deap water and general trail riding. Basketball

I don't have pix of the area I'm trying to get it in, I'll get some when I get time. I was running the epoxy idea by ya'll. The factory intake is in a bad place for adding any to it, so I think I'll have to cut the airbox.

I like PVC alot better....I am kinda of afraid of the spa hose type stuff. I would try to run pvc any where you can. If you need any help let me know.....I may could run down there one weekend before the Wilburns race.

I'm going to have to rethink this, there's not enough room to run cpvc with the gas tank sitting almost on top of the air box and not enough room in between the exhaust, the left side has alot going on too so I may be stuck with some hose.

Would it hurt anything to run two 1" cpvc intakes?
