I've rode up there several times. It goes by a lot of names from what I gather (The Gulf, Bryant's Cove, Mont Eagle, etc.). There's some good riding up there & great scenery.

Here's a few more pics from that area:

Great pix. You and Gary need to come up and ride with us at Pickett. Gary would really like it up there.

I've never seen the piano either, but alot of the other picts, those places I know.Glad to find a forum of other people that have ridden there,I don't think alot of people know about this place or there would be alot more riding there. We ride 40 to 50 miles and never hit the same trail twice.

We park in Coalmont at the old general store by the ambulance service. The owner is cool as long as we park and back up,dont drive thru the grass is his only request. You can go off towards Bryants Cove one way,or ride the old coal pits and down Paynes Cove the other direction back towards Pelham.

We were going tonite to the Point and cook out,but its going to be to cold for me.

We will be up there next time its 50 or warmer on the weekend.

Im going tomorrow either to the cove or iron gap.
Could be several of us or just me and my wife
We are totally cool with going in anywhere , the safest palce ive found to park is the chimmnies state natural area.
Thats a short killa ride to the stair case and is alos about mid way through the entire cove.
You can go left at the botome once you reeach the main stream and that will take you to indian cove and the entrance ie sequatchie, or you can go right which will take you to peter cave cove bryant cove all of umm.
Plus you get the sweet stair case hill.
My vote for a perfect ride ,,, go in pocket,,, ride out indian then go toward oak grove.
ride back in and then go t5oward chapel.
Then do what ever but finally go back down cove and exit peter cave cove then ride on roads to yer truck.

You got any pics of this? What's it like? I don't really know the names of any of the points of interest, but there is one really long & rocky hill climb that I remember going up... thought I was never gonna get to the top of it.

Yeah i ride alone sometimes, i ride during the week to.
I dont drink and ride ,but i have nothing against those who do.
My main stomping ground is The cove , bryant , coppinger , Indian, peter cave, sequatchie, all the same place really just one giant cove with lots of smaller ones leading off the sides.
you can ride 40 mils and only cross paths once .
But ill drive and ride anywhere i dont care i just love to ride.
My job allows me some freedom but i work really late and i work weekends.
