PostSubject: ATV for Doublin or single riding   Tue Mar 17, 2009 10:06 pm

Hello everyone, this is my first post. Thanks for this forum it's something good to have for upper cumberland.

I have been looking for a while now for something that would be sufficient at doublin me and my girlfriend but also be "manly" enough to handle me when I go on rides. I'm new to the four wheelin scene but have rode in the past.

Heres what i'm thinking, (please give ideas etc), something probably 450 or 500. I have been watching the polaris 500 around the 1998 versions. With the back racks and just get a strap on back seat. I dont want a two seater they seem too long. But i'm also on about a 2500 to 3000 budget.

My question, does anyone have any ideas of any types of fourwheelers that kind of meet my critieria and also if anyone has any deals that they could send my way.

what would be the main reason for going independent over solid? Because i have noticed some manufacturers still make solid rear axles in their 08 and 09 models.

The Indep will give you a much better ride and seems more stable.
