If you ride Windrock OHV(72000 acres) its 88 dollars a year. With a Type 001 and a 094 Hunting and fishing license w/ A small game permit you can ride the Upper Cumberland WMA(160,000 acres) and Brimstone (19500 acres) is 60 dollars a year. These three places all tie in together.

Most other places charge a price per day to ride. like Wheelin in the country and Wooly's.

There are some free left to ride out there but they are getting slimmer and slimmer on the ammount of land to be able to ride on. Especially with all the development and expansion of cities and towns. Then there's TDEC, which a lot of people don't particularly trust right now.

Most of my old riding areas have either been bought out by a WMA or overdeveloped.

Which is why i love the cove so freaking much.
But rumor has it that it will be split in half by the a$$ hole who logged the middle part.
He thinks a log cabin community will do well there and he apprently has never seen the area.
The mexican rock harvesters are everywhere and i seriously doubt any of them have and kind of permit or anything.
Then my most truobles some woe is the new blue tape that is at miners pass , one of the most beautifil areas of the cove.
Is it about to be logged .
There is enough old but still running equipment in coal mont to log the whole dang place in less than a year.
Yeah we stir up mud.
But they just cut the whoile damn forest down.
OHV is sustainable and profitable use of the forest .
Logging, in this fasion, is not .
