What mods are you doing to your bike to get ready for racing season this year? I'm planning on redoing my snorkels, and just getting most of my accessories on the bike. Other than that, the only thing Ive got plans of buying are Gorrilla axles, and some EDL's.

I'm just gonna try and get the clutching down for right now. Don't really have the extra cash for BBK. What tires would you reccomend instead of EDL's, oh Great One? lol

Your going to need to turn them fast and easy.....From what I have been watching on you tube and reading on High Lifter.....before anyone says anything...Yes I spend about all day on the internet at work and home... Embarassed Laughing Laughing Laughing Not knocking on your atv whatsoever...I would like to have it myself....but anything bigger that a 26 they won't turn them stock like you need too in DEEP stuff. It will turn 28's just not good and not all all in the thick pits or mud. No offense meant...just don't wanna see you get a set then regret it... Wink

I'm in the process of redoing my snorkels should have everything done this saturday. Also trying to make or find something to put in front of my rad to protect it, and either mod the warn bumper or build a new bumper. I'm going to run 26" mudbugs for now. I need to replace the tank cover and the left side cover. I want to get some light weight wheels and interco tires Very Happy .

Hey big gun def get a clutch, IMO run narrow 26" or 27" even with a BBK or Stroker- tall lugged 28s are pushing it as far as joints, axles, bushings, etc. Even with gorrilla axles.

Big Gun do you have full skids on the 300?

They help alittle in mud raceing and mud deflection. I've got some thin steel plate laying around, also have some plastic if you want it, take some measurements. Plastic would be great for just raceing, but wouldn't hold up in the woods fer long.

I've got to replace my front diff seal, check all my vent hoses, and do some sheave cleanup.

After the CV boot comes in and I get that rear seal fixed....I am ready to go... Snorkel

The first race in Pikeville should be July 11th. I guess sometime in June I will need to round up about 6 CATVR's to help out with the races..I will be helping stage...then we need a start line flagger, finish line flager who will also be doing any Black flagging. Finish line judge, 2 keep up with who won and who lost and so on. I will help make the papers for that and get them a table and chairs. Then 2 people for registration......those can also do the results. So in total we will need atleast 6 guys....if anyone is up for let me or sstandefer know.

EDL'S ARE ORDERED!!! I was going to go with the Outlaws but I saved about $100 on EDL's. I will have motor work done later this year so I won't have trouble spinning them for too long. I'll get pics up when I get them on the SS 212's and get the bike cleaned up.
