Well I am in the process of trying to making a deal with the Local Suzuki Dealer taking my 2007 Arctic Cat 400 for a 2007 Vinson 500 auto brand new still in the showroom. And if that don't fall thru then I'm going to try for a 2008 KingQuad 400 auto

Not working and no income right now, so I'm going with a deal that is the very least out of my pocket. Now if I was working I would go for a 750 and with powersteering. The dealer here has one in stock and it does look sweet. My main goal is to get a auto and a bigger motor than I have now if the deal goes thru. Besides if I can get in trouble with a 400 what the heck would happen if I did get a 750... think roll

I'm talking about my 400 Arctic Cat trying to trade it for a Vinson 500.

The Vinsons are nice machines, but straight axle. I like riding a straight axle machine, my Honda Foreman is one, but everyone else swears by IRS. Our Rhino is IRS but you can't really tell anything because you're in a bucket seat with no handlebars, but the seatbelts & rollcage are nice.
Being an automatic, the belt will likely slip if you do much riding in water.

The Vinson does have a lower center of gravity than my Arctic Cat. As far as the straight axle goes I had the Ozark and it was a straight axle and I liked it alot.
It is a 500 vs. my 400 so thats more power and auto vs manual. I can live with the changes.
Brand New with 0 miles on it. Doesn't even have the battery hook up in it yet. Still sitting in the showroom.

Ok i got ya , I think you chould get the KQ 450 is finance allows , if you add a VDI and a nice clutch it will easily keep up with or out run the Vinson plus you get IRS ..
Man i totally cannot imagine riding straight axel anymore.IRS is just so smooth>

Got to go with what my finances will allow, I would love to have a 450 or the new 500 power steering but a little out of touch right now.

Moose,

The Vinson is a stong 4-wheeler. Mine was a 5-Speed not the Automatic. You cannot go wrong with it for torque and power. Go get it. I hope it is Yellow. That is a cool color on the Vinson.

Moose, I would go with green. Black will get scuffed so bad. That is just my opinion of course. Vinson is a helluva wheeler. Suzuki products in general are high quality. I am not sold on their customer service at all (corporate) but I have not had any real issues with the two Kings I have owned. I would not worry too much about the belt. I have yet to have mine slip. I don't go in deep water just for fun either though. I try to stay out of that stuff.

I'm not crazy about the green color, I just really don't understand why suzuki don't offer more colors for any of their atvs. Most are built in Rome, Georgia and they have their own
plastic extrusion machine. Can't believe that the little plastic pellets would cost any different from one color to another so why not offer more colors IMO.

Green has always been my color of choice. But then again, I love to hunt and like the "not so loud" color choices. Black looks AWESOME when it is new but can get to looking rough if you are hard on your machine. I know a guy that had a black KQ and it was SWEET.
