| Not much for cabins around here , Racoon mountain might be a good idea but then youll be camped at the base of Atena and you might just ride it. I concider Prentice a way more family friendly area. Camping is good at PC. Thats about all i can think of at the moment . We all need to pressure PC into anouncing what trails are open and which ones are closed as the point has been closed alot lately . also i went out Haley road where there is alot of great riding and saw inmman point and long point closed ... Arggg Why ? So you might call ahead to see where you can and cant ride. There are some real trails off to the right on haley that i highly reccomend and they are always open. I think that PC should maintaine a sign at the front of the park announcing which roads are open. They seem to just do what they want when they want besides the normal hunting closures.
Its a great family riding area ill try and look for a cabin some where closer by. Racoon mountain is 20 mins drive. |
