PostSubject: 06 Outlander 800 trailing arm   Sat Jul 11, 2009 7:44 pm

I recently noticed my right rear tire was cocked in. We measured both sides and the right side wheelbase was about a half inch shorter than the left. I then noticed a little dent in the right rear trailing arm. I have never wrecked the quad. I put a set of stock wheels and tires back on the quad this week and that is when I noticed the rear wheel turned in.

Here is my question. Is this fixable or do I need to order a new trailing arm? And where do is the best place to get parts for my Can Am?

My guess is a new one is in order.

You can probably find one on www.bikebandit.com

If you want a set that you will NEVER have to replace, get in touch with John Cannon...

He is a regular on the Highlifter, Mud and Dirt and Aurora boards...CE has a set of those bulletproof trailing arms on his bike...good stuff.

If you need any type of help with different issues on your Can-Am, register at

www.aurorawheelers.com

Best Can-Am site on the net for technical stuff, nothing else is even close.

I buy alot of my parts from Parker Yamaha out in Arizona, they have great prices on Can-Am parts.
