Looks like I am going to be the owner of a gently used Garmin 60c. I know its not the x, but for a first time GPS owner I think it will be fine. Heck, if need something more I'll upgrade. I can't wait to just go get lost.

Just looking at the specs and price, it looks to be a decent unit. It has a couple of features that I like. These things are like everything else, I can't get every feature I would like to have in one unit... it just doesn't exist.

I like mine Smile It is as accurate as a 60csx and supports paperless geocaching too. For a small yearly fee you can also get aerial imagery. It comes with all the topo disc's so you can load in the area you want. Here is a wiki page with some great info http://delormepn40.wikispaces.com/

What model 200,300,400 and 400T ??

If you use it with the back light on 100% brightness all the time and a good set of rechargeable batteries it will last about 6hrs if you turn the back lite off it will run about 10hrs. With the touch screen it is the most user friendly that i have used.
