Twin Air has come out with an after marker filter for the 800R's. I guess there was none available until now...check out the Twin Air site for more info.

It still looses HP over the stock 09 filter.. There is hopes that UNI will get off there tails and make one ( with the cage inside) for the 09.. If you are after max HP stay with the stock filter but if you want A cleanable filter get the TA or UNI..

why would the Twin Air lose over the Uni? Most of the time Twin Air flows better. Just Curious

Nothing flows as good as the factory 09 filter.. Greg( MRRPM ) has dynoed the stock 06-08, 09, and all unis/kn/twin air and they all loose HP versus the stock 09.. Actually my stock 07 air filter is better than the uni im running as far as HP goes but I like the cleanability of it

here is the most recent thread about it

I still run the stocker...I clean it 2-3 times and then replace it. The bike runs better on the stock filter, I have a TA and a UNI in plastic bags on the shelf...

They don't make one for the 09+ 800R though. That is what I was saying...that Twin Air came out with one.
