You should have asked Jody and me about that POS EMP bumper... they look good, but don't ever use it or you WILL be repairing it.

I have rebuilt mine...I think it may hold up to the winch pull now....Definitely the worst money I spent on the RZR!

I knew the problems. I plan on fixing them before I use it.

I'm confused, I have pulled the crap out of mine already. Maybe the lighter weight of the midsize plus my smaller winch isn't too much for it?

Can you open the hood with that kind of bumper?

I have not seen the issue with the Rangers but with the RZR bumper, it cracks at all the stress points.

I looked for a Warn but could not find one that fit mine. I saw them listed but no one had one.

I put an EMP on my RZR, but I only have a very bright LED light mounted on it so hopefully that won't break it..hehe

I plan on putting a winch on sometime in the future but I may need to change out the bumper, I have also heard that the EMP bumpers don't work well in pulling a bit off center on the XP's, the arms are so long on that bumper that they spin a bit and bend the flanges on the back of the bumper. Wish I had done a bit more research before buying it...

Live and Learn.

Well I finally got around to replacing my poor ole rear bumper. It held up good to all the abuse I put it through I just hope this EMP holds up. The build is nice but the mounting is awful. I will remedy that very soon.

HOWDY PWM,
WOULD YOU HAPPEN TO HAVE ANY GOOD IDEAS TO CHANGE THE FRONT, REAR, TRANY, ETC GEAR OIL OR OIL ON THE RANGER. HEADED TO PICKETT FROM THE 22ND TO 26TH AND I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE THE OIL ALL AROUND THE RANGER. COULD YOU TELL ME BRIEFLY THE STEPS TO DO IT.
TRYING TO AVOID REMOVING THE SKID PLATE.
THANKS AGAIN
CAJUNMAN

It will be hard to do without removing the skid plate. Check with PRC and you will find video's showing the change I think. I always take mine in as I am on the road most of the time and do not have the time.

well , i just got it done. i bought the kit that includes oil and gear oil, tranny oil , rear gear oil filters, gas treatment etc....etc.... well that was a waste because half of the oil provided , the ranger doesnt even need it. anyways front gear 5 minutes, motor oil another 5 or 10 minutes, rear gear which is really the tranny 5 to 10 minutes. just dont be affraid to tackle it , last time i went to polaris they charged me 400.00. they wont see me again.

Well I am getting older and can't see as well so I added some LED lights up front to go along with the HID's.
