OK.... The races tomorrow the 26th are at 168 mayfield rd in Hartselle Al.

I just got off the phone with the owner and he said that this is the first races that they are having of the year. He said there is dirt drags and a 130ft mud bog.. If you dont want to participate in that there is a "play area" and some hill climbs.

Im going (wife and lil man also) and I think Bamajeepjunkie may be coming also. Let me know if yall plan on coming and we can grill out and make a day out of it..

I really have no idea what to expect but i think we'll give er a shot and see what its like.

well according to Jason and Shaun. The Hartselle drag strip stunk. Just a strip between two cields out in the middle of nowhere. I was going to go with them, but they told me not to waste my time there, so we all met up and went to another sand-drag close to Shaun's.

But here's the kicker, We got rained out. Would have been fun for you boggers, as they have a pond and a swamp nearby but we decided to try again some other day.

How about that snowmobile powered banshee? Yeah the hartselle bog "The Pit" was lacking alot mostly racers though. Wish someone close by would help the guy out. With my job and it being over 30 minutes away I can't really do what needs to be done for it to be nice. Heck I don't really have time now to keep everything up I have. It was great to hang with y'all for a while.

Yeah, we got to get together again soon. ( i went riding up Iron gap today and found some mud holes). I really wasn't looking for them, but found some deep mudholes.

Maybe sometime in July we can gettogether for some upper-alabama trail riding.

disappointed doesnt even come close to how I feel about that place. pale

It wouldnt be that bad but considering the guy talked it up to be the neatest thing since slice bread and it was more like rotted garbage.

We'll have to plan something in the upcoming months for sure

Yeah we'll have to get a ride. Is Iron Gap an easy ride as far as not real steep climbs etc.

yeah it aint to bad. There are some rocky spots that you gotta go down to get in there and up them to get out of there but not to bad. You and the wife need to come up and go to Wooly's with me. That place is a really smooth place with alot of mud. Probably my favorite place around here. A matter of fact it is my favorite place around here so far.

Sounds good to me. My real concern is a place that won't scare the wife to bad and somewhere that the timberwolf can go and not kill me (the timby is lite but hurts for days when it rides ya 20'). I have not even had time to tear into the kodiak yet (to see what or if I burned up any wiring to the soleniod).

Chris, i think he needs to ride Viola with us sometime.

My favorite place so far( mainly because it offers a bit of everything). and in the summer even has a swimming hole to keep cool off in.

Woolys is fine, little less hilly than hale mtn or Iron Gap, and easier to get to.
