It has a larger screen than the 76 and much larger than the 60's and easier to use than either.

It also has voice directions so I could use it traveling as well.

Thanks, Figured they would.

while everybody is on the subject figured I would ask some of you guys what makes the 76csx way better than the 60CSx.

Ive learned you can read reviews all day, but the best way I know to learn about a product is to ask those that use them, any short feedback would be appreciated.

The buttons are ~2x larger with larger separation, making it easier to see and use for me. The 76 is also supposed to float. They have exactly the same electronics and program.

Glide,

If you will look here

http://www.gpscity.com/garmin-gpsmap-76csx.html

http://www.gpscity.com/garmin-gpsmap--60csx.html

I think they are real close in price between the 60CSx and the 76CSx.

Now both units are being discontinued soon for the newer models and you might find a deal on either one. I know that Cabela's or BassPro had a deal a few weeks ago on the 60CSx for $219.

I have the 76CSx because of the Buttons being easier to use. Either one you will be fine with.

Thank ya Rooster,
Ive already been on gpscity, best prices Ive come across thus far, and the same as bass pro shop's sale last week.

I think when the 76 comes out these prices will drop a little bit more, I'm in no big hurry right now as work has slowed down quite a bit right now, but it will pick up when the kids go back to School and mess up their Computers.

but so far with Dan's Google Map overlays (Thanks Dan) We been getting around fairly good, hopefully things will pick up, but for right now I'm just trying to learn what I can before hand.

I have a map running on a few Nuvis... 205W, 500, 660, & 760... they all work the same loading external maps. I don't recall exactly, but I don't think they have mapping capability.

Funny you should post this , I found a 76 in a pawn shop today for under $100 but was only gray scale, so I passed on it!
