Just wondering what SxS you would get? Or if you have one would you get a different one?

I am thinking about one in the future...I know the Yamaha Rhino is the most reliable but I wish they were a few inches wider like the Teryx is. I am leaning towards the Teryx 750 EFI but again...it will be a while before I try to even get one. I am not looking for the most powerful in the SxS...just the most reliable. I like the RZR but not enough room in the bed so its moreless outta the question for me....but I do like them.

I cannot say reliability but i can say i would figure the most reliable would be the can-am's once they figure out any bugs they have and thats what i am going to be getting in the near future Seems to me that they have the best warranty program that i have heard of beside polaris and i would say as of right now polaris probably has the most reliable sxs right now if your not worried about power then just buy the ranger its as wide as the teryx and it has similar power from what i understand.

I have the rhino and it has been and still is a great machine but if I had the cash and was buying new I would most likely go for the Commander X, Mainly because it is different..

I have to agree on the Rhino's they are very tough. The new Can-Am will be very nice though.

I had a 2008 Rhino Sport, 2009 RZR and put a bunch of miles on a Trex. I would hands down get the Trex if my trails were wide enough for it.

Thank Tennessee....I know they have made some great change to the Teryx ever since they came out with it...seems the 2010's are doing very well. I guess its like anything....takes a few years get things worked out.

Im not sure why everyone thinks the can ams are so reliable .Just sayin - my King Quad never gave me a lick of trouble after i installed decent fuel pumps in umm .
Now i got 4000 miles on both.
But my new can am renegade has a busted rear diff -and all 8 of the cv boots had to be replaced - next i hear its fuel pump time .
Only time will tell but it just done seem like the most reliable bike .
Its so finiky to .
I hope it proves me wrong they are pretty hard to work on and the three universal joints are just three things ready to break .IMO.

I will say one thing I LOVE THE RIDE , nothing else compares.

They do have a lot of Rear & rear diff & transmission problems and water pump & Fuel pump issues...I will say that. I see a lot of that with some of the guys in racing and 99.9% of the racers bike are better taken care of than any trail rider if you know what i mean. They are tore down and very well taken care of...I think most racers are OCD with their bikes...lol. I think Justin may have been comparing it to his Brute. I think he has some issues with it in the past. Now yes...the KQ's are very reliable but they don't have the power of the V-twins. I think that is one reason they do so well....really.

im sure if suzuki was to make a sxs it would be pretty reliable im just going off of what were talking about right now i would say the two most dependable sxs are the rhino and the polaris but like i said can-am's are very reliable for the power they put down its a night and day difference between a rhino and a rzr and im sure its going to be night and day diff between a rzr and a commander if i had to guess.. And yes the only bike i will not recommend anyone buying is a kawasaki unless they start doing better things with their bikes they are way behind in the atv world.. but i have heard nothing but good things about their sxs's only a few issues with them unlike the atv's.. but my biggest issue with the teryx bikes are that they blow head gaskets and seals out of the motor way to often for someone like me i dont have the money to be rebuilding my bike all the time and i have heard of way to many teryx's doing this..

If i had to buy a sxs right now i would buy a polaris and this is comming from a guy who hate's their atv's (sorry not trying to offend just had bad luck with them) but love their sxs's they are just to far advanced than the rhinos and prowlers.

I didnt even mention the can am steering stem issues .
OR the big one itself {THE FRAMES}

There is no getting around the truth Can Ams have a huge amount of problems to go along with their really awesome power and great handling.

So with the SxS's you get a bigger machine and everybody tells me you have alot more maintenence.
I cant imagine having more maintenance that i already have .

Yep the Ride is Killer but the issues are reALLY KILLER

If I had the money for a new machine and was looking at a SxS, it would be either the RzR or a Ranger.....it would depend on how much interest the wife and daughter showed in joining me on the trails.....if both would want to come I would lean toward the Ranger, but if only one at a time then the RzR Twisted Evil

I am not in the market for a sxs ( don't really see myself in the market for one anytime soon either).

I'll keep what i got for now, ( more my style anyways). And if i was to get anything, it would be after all the kinks have been worked out . I know never to buy a first year machine. I'll let someone else be the guinea pig on those.

Saving my $$ though.

Well...they are working on them hopefully. They have improved...I like them. They are the best bike for racing but then again racing don't put as much strain on the Frames and such....I know the guys on team have to replace a lot of stuff on theirs....but dang there fast. The big motors they have are hard on more stuff though. I do have a friend that has went through....I think 5 or 6 transmissions. I would still get one to race though....lol.

I have to agree Gip...they stuff they have changed for the 2010's. They have improved 100% on the CVT snorkels, CVT springs, air box, and a LOT of little stuff....even from the 09's.

Not too many are saying anything about the RZR, but it still leads in voting.

Yea, but isnt it funny that it leads by double in the voting, yet everyone spends so much time bashing it.....

Speaking of checkbooks, cant wait till I can get that S4 for the family
