I've only been there once so I can not help you. Maybe Powerbomb or Dan will chime in.

Cajunman,

You got Dan's Maps....Go for it...

Start out on Trail 98 down at the Trail 3 Parking Lot....

Ride on back to the south side and get on 91, 43 and 44 loop around and come down 10 by the waterfall....

My group of regulars are heading to Brimstone for the first time on Saturday. My 8yrd old has a cross country race that I don't want to miss but I also want to ride Brimstone. I'm thinking of going to his race and then trying to meet up with my group at brimstone later in the day.

My question is about places to meet them. What are some popular and easy to find spots that we could set to meet? Sorta someplace like Carpenter's rockhouse at Slickford......? Keep in mind none of us have ridden Brimstone.

The intersection of T1( the four lane) and 3 or 8 are good places. They are somewhat in the middle of the area.

I like 107(upper end above the logging), 108, 113, 112... these are all in the same area. 92 is a good trail. Logging has made several trails a bit undesirable.

Thank you Dan, What about a trail that I should definitely avoid with a side by side? Too narrow or log crossing or else.........

The lower end of 107 is closed M-F, open S-S, per the loggers sign. Personally, I ride them all... however, there are a few technical spots that can test ones expertize.

I also enjoy 90, 91 (N end has been rerouted and I don't have data), and 93. I enjoy taking a break in the piney woodland down near the creek on 91... a very relaxing place.
