Nice looking box. I like how it opens from the front side instead of back. I wonder how good the Water and Dust seal is on it. Decent price also. Tell Matt to send me one and I will trail test it for them.

The ones I have seen are very nice....I talked to one guy that had one...said it did not leak at all. Sealed up very well.

I will tell Matt...might need a few other things tested as well... Laughing Razz

Tamarack makes a quality product, I've had a few of their cargo boxes.

I would like to make the suggestion not to get this one.. Its a junker.. There is one on a brute that rides with us, leaks, flimsy plastic, Not very sturdy, Latches suck, Not comfrtable..

PLus its HUGE it gets caught way to much when we are trail riding around trees and what not

I've saw a front latched box come open on the interstate... guess what happened to the contents and lid...

I looked at one the other day at the shope and it seemed to be very nice and well made. It was pretty thick and heavy. Maybe they have changed some...not sure. Thanks for the input though. The two I have had with front opening I didn't have any issues with and they were the cheaper Kolpin boxes. You can always lock while traveling I guess. I'm also looking at others as well. Found a few others I liked. Looked a Kimpex but did like it to well...then a few other brands.

Thanks Ron...I check and with that one I posted above its 10 inches in that middle part and as long as its less than 11"s i'm fine. I think I'm going to have to get me another pipe first.

the latches and hinges suck on a kimpex, we have had to fix several of them here of our friends, if you ride with any amount of speed the latches start gettin loose and fall off, an then the lil crappy hinge bolts bend and break,

The Tamarack boxes have saved my butt a couple of times in rollover situations, they are tough as nails and seal really well once you put a strip of gasket material around the seal edges.
