PostSubject: Suzuki KQ 700 & 750 Battery Charging Issues   Thu Jun 09, 2011 2:41 pm

Here is a link to a Tech Tip on Nyroc that helped me out a lot. When idling my KQ 750 battery had 12.8 volts. As most of you know when battery is not perfect on the KQ is causes weird things to happen. I did this mod to mine, but only did the negative/ground wire. I ran a piece of 16 gauge to the negative battery post and my voltage shot up to 13.9 volts when at idle. Hopefully this will help anyone who is having that issue. Credit goes to guys on Nyroc. Thanks

Good add-on to this one is to also ground directly to the starter motor ground...saves taking another wire and hooking it to the battery.
