| Would anyone know of rental cabins near Prentice Cooper State Forest ? Recommend any? Not much for camping, getting a bit old and lazy for that. |

| Maybe Jerry will chime in as I always camp. I think the KOA campground rents cabins.

Im not sure where u are coming from, but there is a KOA campground that has cabins that I usually stay at the first exit on I 59 after u exit off I24. Its considered Trenton, Ga but the exit is Slygo Rd.
There is another KOA at the Ringgold, Ga/ Ga hwy 2 exit that also has cabins. I like the Lookout Mtn KOA at Trenton better though. Real nice people and its secure parking where you have to unhook your atv trailer. The koa at Ringgold was right by the interstate.... was a little loud. JMO The other place is close to interstate but off the road farther and in a mtn setting. There is also a drive in theater right down the road u pass to get to koa.
At either location you can get to PC in about 30-45 mins....
Seems like there was some cabins or lodging options at Raccoon Mtn but for some reason we never ended up staying there. Prolly cause we liked the KOA so much.
Look up KOA.com and u can see where the campground/cabins are in comparison to PC.
Hope this is helpful. |

| Another thing, even in these cabins u need to bring linens or sleeping bags and a pillow...but thats no biggie. Beats packing up the kitchen sink to camp. |
