I am looking for some advice / help on a problem I'm having with the Ranger:

The parking brake does not hold at all. Does anyone know if this is a common issue? Also, is there an adjustment on the parking brake? With 200 hours on the machine, I can only assume that the P.O. rode it with the brake on or something. I looked at the mechanism and am not sure what I could twist/turn or whatever to adjust them.

Any guidance would be helpful.

Thanks guys!

It is a known issue that the parking brakes are terrible on Rangers. They stick causing them to wear prematurely.

Mine has an adjustment down at the brake itself but I am not sure about the 06's.

Go here and ask the question and you will get an answer.
