I have ridden this the last couple of years. Always a good ride in Bryants cove. Its a bit cooler in the cove and dust isn't an issue.

Kennedy Griffth is the daughter of the superintendent of Schools here in Marion County. Super nice guy and great family. Kennedy has been battling cancer now for several years and is now fighting for her life again. This one is not only a great ride, but its a great cause for a family thats been through a lot.

I did this ride for the first time last year and had a blast. Definitely looking forward to it again this year.

I totally agree with Big G about Kennedy. She is an awesome young lady and one heck of a fighter. Its definitely a great cause for a great family.

I've never been to the cove and always wanted to go. My husband and our friends like easy to moderate riding. We love mud and water. We dont do a lot of trenches where you have to ride sideways a lot or big rock climbing. If you've ridden Bakewell or Lewis Chapel in TN, that is the very rougheset we tolerate (and I'm not even nuts about that). But we prefer places like Royal Blue and Prentice Cooper.

So my question is this, has anyone gone to this run before and do they choose easier trails? I'd be afraid of getting in over my head and then not knowing the way to turn around and go back.

I've never been on this ride but you can ride the cove and keep it fairly tame, you just have to stay in certain areas. If this ride doesn't work out for you my dad and I would be happy to show you guys around one day.

Prentice cooper is so plain and unchallenging, but a good place for those who are just starting out in the atv hobby. I wish i had taken my dad there for his first ride out instead of the cove.

But the cove has riding for every skill level out there. It is a little rougher than prentice cooper, but not near as bad as some places i have rode.

If the rain holds up till this weekend, i may be riding on this one. Would rather deal with the rain than that awful dry dust.

I dont mind rocky or rough. It's when a trail gets narrow, and there is single deep trench that you can't avoid riding through so you are leaning way, way over on your side that we hate and dont do well on. Our trv seems to tip easily that way.

Yeah, Prentice is just a cruising place. It's nice and big though with really nice scenery and lots of wildlife to see.

This rain is awesome huh?!

I just thought about this because I'm at Prentice Cooper with a new ride today, lol. How do you feel about the rocky part of Haley Road? If you are ok with that, you should be able to have a good time in the cove. There should be plenty of people on that ride to help you if you get into a tough spot.

Oh my gosh, we LOVE Haley Road. Front to back. Every dang inch of it. We love water and mud, no matter how high. Like I said, its when a trail gets washed out and has some sort of deep rut you cant get around so you are leaning bad, or when there is no way around a huge, huge hole (so "one" wheel is forced down and in), that we are uncomfortable. This sounds great. I sure hope I can talk my people into going. at the very least my husband. Thanks for the comparison.

There will be plenty of riders up there to help if you get upon something you're not comfortable riding. I don't like sidehilling mine either( i've had mine roll on top of me once).

Hope to see you all up there tomorrow morning. I just hope my durango can make this trip up.
