Nice ride, just remember, those Outty's take ALOT more maintenence than a Honda or Yamaha, you gotta keep the grease in it and watch the belt.

Looks like it could do some major damage to a mudhole.

You need Gorilla axles on that bad boy if you pin it hard in a hole and stub a root she will snap a stock axle.
Yer down in Japer just over the hill from me - i cant think of a mud hole around these parts that will slow that down .
There are a few mud ponds up at PMS you could have a heck of a time playing in and they got soft bottoms to -

I picked it up in Mississippi so it was already built pretty well to handle the mud. Has 30" Gorilla Silverbacks, Gorilla axles, and a Gorilla radiator re-locator kit. Can't wait to get it into the cove this weekend and try it out.

I hardly use higher gear. when you go that slow in the cove, like chris said, low gear is your friend.

You'll enjoy it.

I haven't taken it apart to check for sure, but going through the paperwork the seller gave me, it appears to have a Dalton clutch kit in it. That is about all I know about the clutch right now.

It has a DynoJet Programmer (USB) on it for the EFI that I'm trying to track down info on currently. Anyone ever had one of these?

It is a Power Commander III, found all the manuals and mappings online. Got it programmed to match the air filter and exhaust that is currently installed on the bike. Could really see a difference in the way it makes power.

Still has a few "rattles" that I'm tracking down and still trying to get used to the automatic...

I dont put alot of faith in Power commanders anymore. I have 2 hanging in my shop off one of my bikes and one of my buddies ( both have been in pelican cases there entire life) and have never been wet. Both of them stopped responding to fuel changes and just basically crapped out.

Oh and the map you downloaded online is ok but you might could get a better perfomace from your bike with another. Only real way to make sure its running as good as possible is a wideband commander and tune it. I do however have a map for a 09 800 with mods similar you are running that is strong and has run on a few bikes in our group and had great numbers on the wideband. I would be glad to email it to you lf you would like to try it.

Just send me a email address and it will be on its way.

Dont take the PC off yet but when the day comes dont go back with one.

Oh check the ground on the Power commander and make sure its to a good metal on metal ground.

Nice bike again, any questions just ask.
