PostSubject: Turley to New River Ride Sat. Nov. 3   Mon Nov 05, 2012 10:06 am

Had a chance finally to get out with the new RZR. We put a Cooter Brown top on it and one of those good windshields that flip outward. Took it out to Turley with friends. It was a fun day despite the fact I was ill part of the day. Everyone was nice to me and put up with me feeling pukey. I managed to tough it out til about 3 pm. Still got in about 30 miles or so.

Nearly all the territory covered was new to me. It was great to see old friends.
Dan was missed. Sorry Jody T was not there too.

Finally got to see the Eternal Flame!
The Fall colors were pretty.
Saw a waterfall on Puncheon Camp.
Saw a black rattlesnake up on the ridge. Think the trail was 22.

I put up a couple videos of the waterfall and I made a movie of short clips of pulling Sammy out of a mud hole, the flame, the snake and the ride itself.

Hahaha! You can hear the negativity and doubt in my voice on the video. Hollering for Kenny to leave the winch out. I was just sure he'd be stuck next! He proved me wrong. He's quite a skilled rider and got his chance later in the day to make the rest of us look BAD!

It finally occurred to me it might be appropriate to share a link to the trip report on here.

Whenever we ride I usually write up a TR. It may take me several days to get it done, but I will do it.
