Well I have added a few more goodies.

First I had an old iPhone 4 laying around so I mounted a RAM mount in the trunk and plugged it into the iPhone jack for tunes.  I also added a 12" tool bag using the Can Am iPod mounting screws.

Then I added a bigger brake pedal from TricLEDS.

Today I added my Diamond R boards.  Installation was simple.  After placing the Spyder on ramps,  I removed the OEM rubber pads.

I used a 3/8" drill bit to enlarge the existing holes.

I then loosened the motor mounts on each side.

Then I slid the cross brace into place and snugging but not tightening the motor mounts.

I removed the nuts on the back of the boards and installed them loosely into the pre-drilled holes in the boards.

I then took my highway pegs and installed them installing the top bolt first.

I installed the brake pedal spacer making sure everything was clear without any interference.

I tightened all bolts and motor mounts.

The rear boards took a total of 3 minutes to install.  Removing the OEM rubber.

Then bolting the new boards on with the supplied bolts.

Now the finished product.  All in all I am very happy with the install.

I went by a dealer this weekend and was going to get out and look at one I had seen on Cycletrader.com and I pulled in the parking lot and they were so busy there was no place to park! Even the none lined areas of the parking lot was full of people. Trailers and machines loaded in the backs of trucks, trailers... Saturday is probably not the best day to go looking and window shopping.

Never know when I get wild hair to take out on a road trip. I havent been to your part of the world in a long time. I have a feeling right now I dont want to be anywhere close to it because its probably pretty busy!

I have debated between a Spyder and a new gas sipper( car). Only thing bad about the motorcycle is if it rains and badweather. But i drove one before, just like a fourwheeler only better. If more of my riding areas get taken over by hunters and closed down, I will be seriously considering a spyder. Even with the threat of mom haunting me for buying one.

It's been a long time since my last post. Wife didn't care for 4Wheeling like I thought she would, so the bikes pretty much sat for the last year. But this year, she got a Spyder and I got a Ultra Limited and we both love it. Phil, we live in Townsend and have a small riding group over this way. Holler if you're headed over.
Incidentally, the bikes are 4 Sale. '05 660 Griz w/ winch and '07 700 Griz FI + 5x14 Lawrimore trailer. Anyone interested?

Nice toys PWM! That camper is a nice setup. I like the idea of having the kitchen outside...who wants to be stuck inside cooking when you are camping!

Done a few things over the last day or so.

First I added a flasher to my brake lights for better visibility. I cleaned up my Gorilla Alarm.

I added a USB Power plug for my phone.

I added a new Corbin Lamonster Cut Seat.

Joe has one of these seats and on his old Spyder the rivets dug into the paint a little.  I corrected that little issue by covering them with the soft velcro tape.

I added a BRP hitch to pull my trailer.

and finally I secured my guardian angel that Joe got me.
