PostSubject: Going to ride at Windrock (12-21-2013)   Fri Dec 20, 2013 9:58 am

Anyone want to suggest a cool route? No extreme stuff. example: trail 22 in parts I view as extreme (the rocky stuff). Have a teryx4 and Honda Rincon. I do not want all gravel though. I was thinking trail2 to G1, up to the windmills, back to above 45 (do not remember exactly what trail that is off of G1 or G2), trail5, and then not sure where. I know I can do G6 to G5 and then back to parking lot.

But I have done this route before and wondering if someone has some suggestions of other trails I may want to try?

How about this for a ride?
2
g1
g2
g39
6
49
42
g6
5
g37
parking lot

I do not know about trails 6, 49, 42. I know they are listed a moderate. But how do they compare with 2 and 22?

Maybe I'm mistaken, but isn't 42 one of the extreme trails? I know that 44 is, so definitely stay off of that one. I've not been on 49 in a while. If it hasn't gotten washed out, it is challenging but not extreme. If it's washed out, it would be pretty hairy. All of the other trails listed are very easy except for one small ledge on 22, which can be easily bypassed on G22 that parallels the trail most of the way up to G5.

Another good route is after you take T22 up, go left on G5, left on T41 (do NOT take 41a or 41b) down to 26, 27, 35 and 36. I don't have a map with me and can't remember the exact sequence, but that general area is good. You can throw in 19, 20, and 4 to make a larger loop.
