Howdy All,

Does anyone have any information, experience, or opinion on the dependability and quality of the Can Am products?  I am especially interested in information on the Maverick.

Thanks,

Alan

Dependability and quality are excellent. What isn't excellent is having a noisy hot motor right next to you. I went with a RZR XP for that reason alone.

They like all are pretty reliable but will need serviced to the degree of the type of riding you do meaning if you ride rough stuff, more service is needed.

I really like my Can Am Outlander 800 (ATV), very dependable, especially love the power.  I usually do my own work/maintenance, but when I needed help recently, only a Can Am dealer would touch it and that's minimum an hour travel time one way in any direction.

Thanks for the info everybody. I have not seen a lot of negative info on Can Am other than belt issues at least with the small amount of research I have done so far. I am considering getting rid of my needy RZR but not sure Can Am is enough better to be worth the expense of trading. When I google phrases such as “Polaris Junk” I get a lot in negative information, but the clutch and belt issue is all I can find by Googling “Can Am junk.” So, that is at least interesting?

Thanks,

Alan
