If anyone here has a questions about the Sportsmans.....just ask. I'm not an expert but have cross referenced enough parts, learned how to avoid the dealer on alot of stuff, and have been through mine from head to toe. Again, not a certified expert but been there, done that!

Hey PoPoMan,

Noticed you were using a Synthetic Rope on your winch. How you like that? Is It better than a Steel Cable?

Hey PoPoMan,

I do like it, It's much lighter and easier to handle. No burrs from cable and if you ever have to through a line to somone it is much easier. Just toss the hook and let the line follow. I was doubtful about the "claimed" strength but have never had a problem. i would recommend without question.

BigDaddy had a problem with one snapping on him and coming back at him (although it was attempting to pull A LOT of weight Stir the Pot )
