Anyone know how to do this? I sold this bike to a neighbor and I am helping hi bring it back to life. Seems like the belt is slipping when you take off. Sometimes it even makes a screeching noise, but that is rare. It mostly just slips. I was hoping to be able to tighten before we went and just bought a new belt. Also, if anyone could email me a service manual for this thing that would be very helpful. mbogosia@comcast.net

I may be wrong...but on the Eiger I think you have to buy a new belt. If so...try Mud-Throwers.com. They have the Carlise Ultimax belts for a great price and I have had good luck with mine. The link is at top of the index page...just click on the banner that says mud throwers. I can also give you a code to get 10% if you want. Just PM me for the code. _________________ Kawasaki Brute Force 750iTeam Cumberland Mudders Barnett #10 Sponsored by: X Brand, MudTechInc., GearUpHelmets.com, Interco Tire, Mud-Throwers.comMudNutz.com

Thats cool.....just be VERY careful on belts. You may spend double trying to get a decent one. I will only buy OEM or Carlise because of some lasting two rides. Let us know how it holds up... It may be a good one. _________________ Kawasaki Brute Force 750iTeam Cumberland Mudders Barnett #10 Sponsored by: X Brand, MudTechInc., GearUpHelmets.com, Interco Tire, Mud-Throwers.comMudNutz.com

| Norma's AC was doing about the same thing. Today I pulled the cover off and did a little cleaning to the Primary Drive and now it seems to be fine. I think the pulley was not closing down all the way. If yours has been slipping very much the belt may be toast but her belt was in very good shape. Her AC is a Suzuki Eiger powertrain in a Arctic Cat frame. _________________ Royal Blue Ranger 06 500 AC TRV

Okay, I might have to pull it apart and take a look at it. A guy on another forum told me that the OEM belts really shouldn't go bad. He insisited that I nede to clean it out and make sure it hasn't been drowned.

Dang! I might just tell him to take it to a shop. Is the secondary spring right in there with the belt? I know the primary should be, but I have never changed out a secondary.
