| Hey people, need some advice/information, what is best 500 cc ATV for MUD racing? I would like to build one for my son. He loves the mud, has never seen a mud hole he did not like. He recently has gotten himself into some trouble. If he succeeds in his rehabilitation, I would like to reward him with a MUD Racer. So give me your personal experience, observations and racing stats. _________________ Ole man (sort of retired) '09 RZR winch, top, 2"lift kit. UTV Doors and skid Plate

| The Suzuki Vinson in the 500 class if you can find one....They quite making them about 2 years ago. If not the Can-Am 500 V-Twin is a Monster for 500....but there expensive as crap though. I would try to find a Vinson if it was me... Is there any other sizes??? or the 500 it??? For example how about 450 or something like that. THe Vinson is the easiest to Mod and snorkel _________________ Kawasaki Brute Force 750iTeam Cumberland Mudders Barnett #10 Sponsored by: X Brand, MudTechInc., GearUpHelmets.com, Interco Tire, Mud-Throwers.comMudNutz.com |

| King Quad 450 or the King Quad 500 it's a new one if it's out yet. The Can-am's are dominating right now though, Look at the renegade 500 efi too. _________________ TCM Bog Team #42 Sponsored by: Mudtech inc., X Brand, GearUpHelmets.com, Interco Tire, and Mud-Throwers.comMUD FLIES WHEN YOUR HAVING FUN03 kodiak 450 modded, 01 big bear 400, 94 timber wolf 250 |

| Hope he succeeds and pray for perseverance for you thru a tough time. What an awesome Dad to want to do something to encourage him instead of just giving up on him!! _________________ 1997 Kawasaki Bayou 220 Be careful what you ask for, you may get a different version of what you had in mind. |

| Want to buy something used, he can keep his Honda for regualr riding. Hope getting into racing get him away from some bad influence. Good boy sometimes a little miss-guided. _________________ Ole man (sort of retired) '09 RZR winch, top, 2"lift kit. UTV Doors and skid Plate

| I think the Polaris 500 HO and the Can-Am 500 are two of the best 500cc mud quads. The Suzuki Vinson is good, but I don't think its better than the Polaris or Can-Am.. If I can get off i'll be running my Sportsman 500 HO at Pikeville on July 11th.. _________________ 04 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO 4x4 27" Mudzillas, 2" HL Lift, Front Turner Cycles Axles, Warn 2.5ci, Polaris Front & Rear Bumpers, Dirtbmw20 Rad Relocate and a few other mods with more on the way

| [quote="HighTechRedneck"]I think the Polaris 500 HO and the Can-Am 500 are two of the best 500cc mud quads. The Suzuki Vinson is good, but I don't think its better than the Polaris or In most races anymore there is a single cylinder class. The 500 Can-Am can't run in it....so its kinda pf obsolete....It has to run with the BIG V-Twins. You can make a monster out of the Vinson There is a guy who races one on Team Bad Company who cleans house with his. _________________ Kawasaki Brute Force 750iTeam Cumberland Mudders Barnett #10 Sponsored by: X Brand, MudTechInc., GearUpHelmets.com, Interco Tire, Mud-Throwers.comMudNutz.com |

| Yeah...I know who your talking about with that monster Vinson TBC. I think i've seen it on High Lifter and in Dirt Wheels Mag.. I do think a well built Sportsman 500 HO will give it a run for its money in the pit.
