These parks that are holding these events for the CMR is trying to get rich in one event. Rocks Bottom in MS. changed theirs after many complained. The race is Saturday...It was $55 to get in and $25 to camp for each night...thats tent camping. So at first is was $80 for me to get in late Friday evening....I was staying with the Mud Nutz and still had t Then $15 to race which i don't care to pay at all. I mean come... They wonder why there is no spectators....NO ONE will pay that much to watch an ATV Race...I mean we aren't sitting with Ricky Carmichael... A few parks like Southern Ridge atleast let the CMR racers get in Free. I am just venting... Now they cut the camping price each night but still $55 gate fee.

It is a shame IMO, this sport is expensive even more than motocross ( I ran in local motocross races years ago). In every mini-moto I ran racers paid to race not a gate fee. I think if the sport dies it will due to greed. If you take care of the racers, more racers will show up, and more spectators will come. You can't treat small time events like a MX championship. Atvs cost more, then performance parts are higher due to having bigger and more parts. Heck I don't know anyone around here that would pay $50 to watch atv races.

I raced Moto-X for about 8 years....it was cheaper than this. I even raced at places like Loretta Lyns and it was cheaper...lol

This sport is NOT big enough for prices like that.

They charge spectators that much. Why? A family cannot afford to come out and pay that kind of money. $5.00 per person to Watch would be reasonable. Haven't these people heard -- This Country is in a Financial Crisis.
