Well guys.........I talked to Lyle from Velocity Devices Inc (VDI). He said the unit for the 700 Rhino is in the final stages. They did field trials last weekend, and he said the gains are magnificent, even better than on the King Quad. I know he knows his stuff and stands behind his product 100%. A sales date was not officialy given, but I got the feeling it will be before summer riding is over.

Sounds good.

Let me know when you're back in the country. You'll be VERY pleased with our Rhino ECU, and it should be really easy to install. When I first bought our test unit, we stuck on 14" ITP SS rims, and the 26" terracross tires (no clutch kit yet). First trip out, loved the machine, found High was a useless gear (it was really guttless with those tires), low was decent, but figured she could use more grunt.

Now, the old low is the new high, and low is even stronger, so it's a blast to ride.

Lyle

NEW INFO FROM VDI:

Due to strong US dollar, the exchange rate is placing the price for the Copperhead ECU at $400USD + shipping.

If you are thinking about getting one, the strong US dollar is making it much more affordable.

Got it installed. Difference is night and day guys. I will be logging some miles on Saturday and I will post a full report. If you are interested in a unit for your Rhino, you can contact Lyle at VDI.
